Lambrini Litsa
Lambrini Litsa was born in Athens/Greece in 1986. She holds a BA in Communication and Mass Media from the University of Athens and a BFA in Dance Performance/ Dance Education from the Greek Ministry of Culture, while she’s also a Theory and History of Art student in Athens’s Academy of fine Arts. In 2007-2008 she moved to Berlin for additional training and stage experience next to significant dance artists, as well as for personal research in the field of performing arts. She has worked as a freelance dancer-performer with independent choreographers (among others with M. Lipsker, M. Buchmann, Susanne Linke, N. Douglas, A. Pittoni, Jessyka Watson Galbraith, J. Henou) in dance and theatre performances, research projects, video dance and other interdisciplinary artistic events in Greece and abroad. Lambrini is also teaching contemporary dance in workshop circles in different venues and occasions, including Izmir Dance Academy and Catidans studio in Istanbul. Currently she is touring with her new production, in co-operation with Kalia Maliali, “Ektos Shediou Polis” and she is about to move to New York soon for new training and educational opportunities and further professional experience.

An experimental dance theater duet created spontaneously after the unexpected meeting of two creative performers. With sense of humor, sincerity and a series of succesional images the piece unfolds on stage the worries, secret desires and an opposition against all the unfulfilled expectations of a so much promising generation. Bodies and objects interact in the frame of a “deconstructed time”, while they drag to our aesthetically indefinite present some colorful memories and moods, which come to remind us that acting and reacting not within the plan can also be an option and a way of living….
