Amir Kolben created InterFace following his experiences with dating websites on the internet. It led to a new relationship and to an artistic collaboration with Masha Waisel, who created the digital media in this piece. Turning to our computers instead of to the neighborhood bar has completely changed today's dating experience, and has opened many new questions such as: Can we satisfy our basic desires through digital communication only? Can the age-old problem of loneliness be solved in the new domain of virtual reality? In dating websites, people do not meet people. Instead, in these underground meeting places, words meet words, faces meet faces, and identities – true and false - meet identities.

"Kolben's new piece is physical, strong, passionate and energetic. Particularly excellent are the duets and the use of space."
Ruth Eshel, Ha'aret

"Kolben's movement language is very beautiful, rich and physical and it simply whets your appetite for more. The duets are extraordinary and moving, and the group formations present a very sophisticated composition. The video clips in InterFace work beautifully (…) and the dramaturgy of the whole piece is coherent and sharp."
Gal Alster, TimeOut
